The expectations of response factor

I thought this concept was pretty interesting. It made me think about the cons of being so connected to technology — everything being instant and super fast that we start to disregard our expressions.
We emphasize and demand quick communication even if it’s not detailed or even meaningful.
We want people to respond within 10 seconds without even letting individuals think about the message so they can truly respond with a careful and meaningful expression.
Should we start to give people more time on responding to us?
Should we start to value careful and meaningful texts over quick meaningless texts?
