Currently reading the book Uncommon Wisdom and a certain quote stuck out to me.
“ If I want something I must create nurturing conditions without time limits for that something to manifest itself. We don’t grow flowers but we create the conditions in which flowers can grow. If I want love, I’ve got to plant love. If I want understanding, I’ve got to be understanding”
This quote left me with two perspectives
1. What you sow is what you reap | it’s sometime mind blowing how the word of God comes to play in everyday situations but that’s another topic. What you sow is what you reap — meaning the things that I sow in my life is what I’ll get back in return. If you sow, love you’ll reap love. If you sow jealousy, you will reap it. So we must be wise and thoughtful with the things we sow, because those seeds we planted will soon come to harvest and most times we don’t like what we reap.
2. If you want something, you must create the conditions for such. For example, myself I am waiting on God to show/bring me my Proverbs 31 woman, but in the meantime I am preparing for her arrival. I am creating the conditions so I will be ready once I receive it. It’s nothing worse than being unprepared when your blessing comes. In such case, I am working on myself — mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually, I am working on myself financially and much more. ( I’m a private guy so that’s all y’all get lol — Don’t be nosy)
