As I am currently reading proverbs, thinking like why is wisdom so invaluable. Then, I started thinking of the ways wisdom can alter situations in your life which would have caused loss in your life.

Wisdom is listening to those with experience, who have already experienced what you are about to experience or could potentially experience if you keep heading the same direction you’re going. So, it would be wise to get the wisdom from such person, so you could see the results before you even take action.

Wisdom can save you a lot of wasted time and that’s something we never get back. Time is the greatest asset with the shortest time of appreciation. So we must use our time wisely. By using wisdom, you save yourself heartaches, heartbreaks and much more.

Wisdom can save your life — for example, if you are in a area and you can see alterations, people yelling loud, pushing and shoving. It would be wise to leave, so you won’t be around when the beans spill. But if you stay you could be in a potential life and death situation.

Wisdom saves you from the wayward man and woman who are seeking you as a way to fulfill their lusts.

Wisdom says you from making bad decisions such as spending all your money eating out when you know you have bills due.

Wisdom can be applied to all areas of your life and the return on investment is unmatched.

“And with all thy getting get understanding,” or, said another way, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5).

The Lord is the source of wisdom; knowledge and understanding come from his mouth.
