2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
Examples of Lovers of Pleasure
- Gluttony/Mukbangs
- Pornography/Masturbation
- Unmarried SEX
- Strip Clubs/Brothels
- Lying/Deceitful
- Self Gratification (Dopamine Addicts = Social Media – anything for the likes; chasing clout)
- Slothful
- Greed
- Materialistic
- Vanity
- Drugs
- Money (working for more and more money)
- Music (discern the spirits behind music)
- Drugs
- Alcohol
- Gossip
There are more pleasure; I am not perfect (BTW) I am in the process of elimating fleshly pleasures such as music (even though I don’t listen to a lot of worldly music; some I listen to may not be too bad as others but it still is due to the artist slipping in sinful habits into the lyrics aka planting a seed of pleasure)
HOWEVER, God (Jesus Christ) has saved from my old ways; has renewed my mind and my heart.
I No Longer
- Smoke Weed or Take Acid or Xanax
- Drink Alcohol
- Battle with Gluttony
- Watch Porn or Masturbate
- Have sex out of wedlock ( I am abstinence)
- Visit Strip Clubs
- Materialistic
