Question of the Day: Why are companies allowed to advertise their product directly to the consumer?

I’m always contemplating on why we allow companies to directly advertise their products to us. Like if I wanted your product; I would head to the nearest market or store to buy it.

However, it seems like they don’t allow us to decide for ourselves. They decide for you. Telling us what we need, telling us why we need their product, telling us how their product could benefit us but secretly create more problems for us in the long run.

Aren’t you tired of seeing commercials filled with TONS of advertising.

WHY do you think other countries ban this kind of advertising to their citizens?

DO you think this type of advertising is beneficial?

  1. It seems as if they got the concept of Supply and demand backwards “DEMAND AND SUPPLY”!
Other countries do ban certain type of commercials, i remember years ago this one Country never heard of “Doritos” !! The only people who benefits is the one making the profit!
