A calorie is not a calorie and are not created equal. You will find some calories are extremely addicting or fattening while some help to heal the body and increase metabolism. Every food you eat provides the body with information that will dictate how that calorie is used, whether it will be beneficial or harmful. Choose your calories wisely to promote a healthy body and the desired weight loss.
Shop on the perimeter of the store. This strategy is used to promote the increase of fresh produce and decrease the consumption of over processed foods. There are some exceptions to this rule including spices, beans, etc. The key is to increase your intake of REAL FOODS.
Don’t purchase or bring junk food into the house and you won’t be tempted to eat it.
Drink plenty of fluid including the purified water, tea, green juice and coconut water. Try to drink at least 8 ounce glasses of water a day.
Keep busy and moving whether it be walking, yoga, or a style or exercise that works for you.
